Blockbuster: Rebranding.

An interesting brief set by Turner Duckworth Creative Studio!

Blockbuster, nostalgically known for its in-store rental experience offers wide genres of movies and gaming DVDs. With the advancement and rise of OTT platforms and everything readily available on fingertips, it is now just a nostalgia with 1 last store in Bend, Oregon. The brief was to identify the ownable and the unmistakable nugget, and strategically leverage it, making bold comeback in today’s modern world.

For the rebrand, I created the concept of In-store advancement, leveraging the one and only store left in Bend, Oregon, reviving it into a special spot to re-live and experience the lost in-store DVD and gaming nostalgia with technological advancements to also keep it upto date in it’s own realm.
